Golden Spiced Granola
There’s something comforting about a batch of homemade granola — the warm aroma filling the kitchen, the golden clusters straight from the oven, and the joy of knowing every ingredient that goes into it. This recipe is infused with warming spices like turmeric, cinnamon, and ginger, giving it not only incredible flavor but also a nourishing boost.
Ingredients
2 cups rolled oats
½ cup pecans or walnuts, chopped
¼ cup pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
¼ cup coconut flakes
¼ cup coconut oil
¼ cup maple syrup
1 tsp turmeric
½ tsp coriander
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp ginger powder
Optional: chopped dates, dried cranberries
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, mix together oats, nuts, pepitas, coconut flakes, and spices.
In a small saucepan or bowl, combine coconut oil and maple syrup until smooth.
Pour wet mixture over dry ingredients and stir well to coat.
Spread evenly on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake for 10–15 minutes, stir, then add dried fruit if using.
Bake another 10–15 minutes, until golden and fragrant.
Let cool completely before storing.
Enjoy your golden granola as a crunchy snack, sprinkled on yogurt, or with a splash of milk to brighten your morning. ✨
