Yelapa: Where the Jungle Heals
Tucked along the edge of the Pacific, just a 45-minute boat ride from Puerto Vallarta, Yelapa is a place the modern world hasn’t quite touched—and that’s exactly why we love it.
No cars. No ATMs. Just the rhythm of roosters, the rustle of palm trees, and the slow heartbeat of the jungle. We stayed in an open-air palapa, where the living room was the earth and the ceiling was a canopy of stars. Iguanas watched us from the branches, chacalacas called from the trees, and barefoot walks led us deeper into the green—to a waterfall, to ourselves.
This place holds a special kind of medicine. Wild. Honest. Alive.
These photos are a glimpse into that time—when we paused, listened, and let Yelapa work its quiet magic.
