Golden Milk Premix

Golden Milk Premix

Golden milk has been used for centuries in Ayurveda as a warming, anti-inflammatory tonic. It’s one of our favorite ways to wind down in the evening or reset in the afternoon — a cozy cup that feels like a hug from the inside out.

We make a premix jar so it’s always ready. That way, you don’t need to pull out six different spice jars every time. Just scoop, simmer, sip, and let your body soften into the golden glow. 🌿

Ingredients (Premix – makes about ½ cup, 15–20 servings)

  • ¼ cup ground turmeric

  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp ground ginger

  • 2 tsp ground black pepper

  • 1 tsp ground cardamom (optional)

  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg (optional)

Instructions (Premix)

  1. Combine all spices in a small jar.

  2. Whisk or shake until evenly mixed.

  3. Store in an airtight container at room temperature, away from light and heat.

To Make 1 Cup Golden Milk

  1. Warm 1 cup milk of your choice (dairy, oat, coconut, almond, etc.) in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Do not boil.

  2. Whisk in ½–1 tsp premix.

  3. Simmer gently for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the milk turns golden and fragrant.

  4. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (to taste) and 1 tsp ghee for creaminess and absorption.

  5. Pour into a mug, sip slowly, and enjoy.

Why It’s Good for You 🌿

  • Turmeric: anti-inflammatory, supports joint health, digestion, and immunity.

  • Cinnamon & ginger: warming, circulation-boosting, and soothing for digestion.

  • Black pepper: enhances absorption of turmeric’s active compound, curcumin.

  • Ghee: deeply nourishing, grounding, and calming to the nervous system.

This golden cup helps the body relax, the mind settle, and the spirit feel held. ✨
